Hi, I am . . .
Growing up
-
I am the oldest child of Diana and Paul Fuelling. They are amazing parents who worked with mentally handicapped adults and as a heat and frost pipe insulator respectively.
-
I have 2 younger brothers and 1 sister. They are all brilliant and we have always been close.
-
I have always been an avid forest explorer, gardener, engineer, and Pokemon trainer.

Biology is life. It is messy. It does not always do what you expect. You will fail often with it. But what is life without struggles? Boring - that's what.
Falling in love with life
-
After the first day of Kindergarten, I announced to my mom that I was going to be a teacher. I just loved school and everything about it!
-
I learned about life science in 7th grade from my teacher, Mrs. Johnson, who showed us that science is fun and helped me connect the dots that this is what I am passionate about - asking questions and doing investigations.
-
I attended Indiana-University, Purdue-University Fort Wayne for my Bachelors in Biology Teaching.
-
My first biology class was in introductory ecology with Dr. Robert Guillespie. I finally had a word that perfectly matched my interests! I was enthralled with ecology and research.
